16 slices day old Italian Bread (3/4 inch thick)
8 slices American or cheddar cheese
8 thin slices ham
1 T grated Parmesan Cheese
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp ground mustard
Spread butter on one side of bread and place buttered side down in greased 9×12 pan.
Top with cheese, ham and Parmesan cheese. Spread butter on one side on bread and place buttered side up on ham.
In bowl whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Pour over bread and turn each sandwich over.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes till golden brown.
