Prime Rib

Recipe works for any size prime rib roast.

Have prime rib at room temperature. Season with salt.

Preheat oven to 370 degrees.

Roast meat (uncovered) in a pan for 1 hour.

Turn oven off and leave in CLOSED oven for at least 2 more hours. DON’T open oven door.

When nearly ready to eat, turn oven back on to 375 degrees. Roast 35 minutes more for “rare” or 40 minutes for “medium-rare”.
