1 gallon cucumbers
12 onions
4 peppers
1/2 canning salt
Grind the cucumbers, onions and peppers, stir in the salt and let set overnight.
4 cups white vinegar
6 cups sugar
1 T mustard seed
1 T turmeric
12 cloves
In large pan mix together the vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, turmeric and celery seed, bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.
Add drained vegetables and simmer 20 minutes. Put in sterilized jars and seal.
Makes about 8 pints.
